SHIROYAMA KINDERGARTEN PROJECT Ⅰ
NAOKO MATSUMOTO ARCHITECTS
- Outline
- As the first step in the renewal of the school's facilities in accordance with the reform of the school curriculum, we rebuilt the aging playroom and extended the nursery for two-year-olds. The playroom is open to the school yard, and the climbing beams create a linearly symmetrical house-shaped space with a maximum ceiling height of 5 m. This space is designed for the children to actively participate in daily exercises and physical activities.
