APL DESIGN WORKSHOP

Outline: Reconstruction of the office building and renovation of the masonry building of the Sohyo Sake Brewery, which was severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake. The office building is a two-story reinforced concrete (partly wooden) structure with a long, narrow volume measuring 6 m in width and 40 m in depth. The masonry building, built in the early Showa period, was reinforced by re-stacking collapsed stones.
