- The café stands on high ground in Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture, which was devastated by the tsunami that followed the Great East Japan Earthquake. This is the main facility of a community café that was temporarily built after the earthquake (1206). It is a space where local people can gather and various events such as concerts and workshops are held. A doctor's office and pharmacy are also located on the site.
