21 KOMABA CENTER FOR EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE (21KOMCEE EAST)

Outline
The Komaba I Campus of the University of Tokyo was created as a new educational space where teachers and students can establish a flat relationship and engage in various discussions. The building is a continuation of Phase I (West: Active Learning / 1209), and Phase II (East: Lecture Building + Science Laboratory Building). The large eaves of the exterior space and common areas complement the various communications among students, while the interior allows for full-scale experiments.
