KANAYA KINDERGARTEN

Outline
A kindergarten built in Fukushima Prefecture. Because outdoor activities are restricted, the aim was to create a kindergarten where children can "sweat" in peace. In order to create an "open semi-outdoor space" where the children can feel the natural light and wind, rather than just a large space, a new place for the children was created by installing a ceiling membrane that is integrated with the structure and does not block the light, designing the facilities carefully, and creating a soft light environment.
