MINATO-KU ISARAGOZAKA NURSERY SCHOOL

Outline
A nursery school in the city center, built on a sloping site, has a series of cylindrical PC (precast concrete) slabs that create a semi-external space between the schoolyard and the interior. The structure is a reverse slab without small beams to reduce the height, and all air-conditioning pipes pass between the large beams and PC arches. Air-conditioning equipment and piping are installed under the floor, and vertical piping is concentrated in a single location, making it possible to accommodate future changes in layout and use.
