Outline
This is the second building of the private kindergarten, Seiai, in Fussa City, Tokyo. It is mainly used for the care of two-year-olds and day-care. The deck adjacent to the schoolyard is covered with a precarbonate roof, and a gentle step leads to the second-floor courtyard deck, which is connected to the nursery rooms, creating continuity between inside and outside. In addition, there are various devices such as steps and slopes in the yard and deck, which provide opportunities for children to play.
