KUMA TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING

Outline
This is the 85th project of Kumamoto Art Police. The triangular wall columns are made of 120 x 180 mm (some 210 mm) cedar laminated diagonally. The vertical and diagonal portions of the wall columns bear the structural load. The site is not designated as a fire prevention zone, and is outside the Article 22 area of the law. The building is a two-story wooden structure with a height of 13 m or less and eaves height of 9 m or less, eliminating restrictions on fire resistance and quasi-fire resistance and allowing the use of solid cedar wood.
