51 ASTOR PLACE

Outline
The building consists of offices, shops and educational facilities facing Astor Place in New York City. The building is located in the district bordered by Third Avenue, Fourth Avenue, Eighth Street, and Ninth Street, and is designed as a stepped volume in accordance with the height limitations of the buildings on each of the streets it faces. We proposed two types of facades, a monosyllic facade and a dimensional facade, to express the uniqueness of the site.
