BAMBOO ARK Ⅱ

A reconstruction support facility in Kesennuma City. It was planned as a place to give vitality to the beach where the traces of the tsunami still remain. Following the bamboo meeting place (this issue, 1112), the University of Shiga Prefecture played a central role in the construction of the facility using natural materials such as local bamboo and soil, and about 60 students were in charge of the construction.
