OAK OMOTESANDO

Outline
This is a reconstruction of the Hanae Mori Building (7901, official name: Aoyama Obayashi Building) designed by Kenzo Tange. While retaining some of the urban image of the previous building, the new building incorporates an earthquake-resistant façade damping system, the Flamus Damper System (HMS), and environmentally friendly technologies such as LED lighting, double skins, and greenery. The entrance, second-floor shop, and Chashu Kanetanaka were designed by Hiroshi Sugimoto.
