Outline: This is a six-story apartment building consisting of two rental units and an owner's unit in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The building is located on a 5m deep, 17 tsubo site along the Tsunashima Kaido road, which was widened. The maximum height of the building is 18,825 mm, and the first three floors are made of reinforced concrete to prevent vibration, soundproofing, and water damage, while the fourth and higher floors are made of steel panels. The thin structure, which was adopted in order to secure a larger room, also has excellent sound insulation performance.
