OMRON HEALTH CARE NEW HEAD OFFICE

Outline
The new head office and laboratory of a company that develops and sells medical equipment. The R&D building and the showroom building stand across a courtyard connected to the entrance. In the R&D building, a six-story atrium divides the offices and laboratories. The atrium promotes interaction between inside and outside, and at the same time provides ventilation within the building. The building is equipped with environmentally friendly features such as vertical louvers on the east face synchronized with the solar altitude, a mini smart grid, and task ambient air conditioning. Thermal motion sensors measure the temperature of people and floor surfaces to detect their presence or absence. Compared with ordinary motion sensors that detect moving objects, this system is more suitable for use in offices.
