SHIGERU BAN ARCHITECTS TOKYO + SHIGERU BAN ARCHITECTS AMERICA
- Outline
- This New York apartment complex consists of eight maisonette units, a gallery, and a penthouse. Low-e pair glass is incorporated into the horizontal folding doors used for airplane storage at airports, and used for the openings on the north and south sides. On the facade facing the north street, perforated metal shutters are installed outside the terraces, allowing the two levels of the maisonette to be fully opened.
