- This facility is the European Union's representative office in Japan. It consists of a residential building and an office building. A central garden is located between the two neighboring buildings. The building has environmental performance that meets European standards. The residential building is covered with 0.7mm thick bronze copper sheets made in Germany, and the office building is covered with green-blue copper sheets that promote natural coloration. The reinforced concrete wall structure, which utilizes the orthogonal wall effect, allows free openings, and the loggias (balcony spaces) of each unit, which are randomly arranged, appear on the façade.
