TAIYOU NO MORI MORITTO HOUSE

Outline
Expansion of a senior citizen facility. We renovated and extended an existing facility for the elderly, and converted the entire facility into a unit care facility. The ceiling of the extension was lowered and wood was used for the interior. The residents' impression of the facility is similar to that of their own homes. The communal living rooms face the outside and are connected to the surrounding greenery where a kindergarten and welfare school are located. A peaceful living environment has been achieved by incorporating environmental construction methods, such as the use of geothermal heat for air conditioning.
