OSAKA STATION CITY

Outline
In conjunction with the renovation of JR Osaka Station, which aims to improve the line of traffic to reduce congestion and make the station barrier-free, the north and south entrances of the station were integrated. The North Building was newly constructed at the north exit, and the existing high-rise building at the south exit was partially extended and renovated, and the space between them was covered with a 180 x 100 m large roof. A seismic isolation system is installed at both ends of the roof.
