Outline
An art museum opened on Teshima Island, the site of the Setouchi International Art Festival 2010 (1009) from July 19 to October 31, 2010. It was created in collaboration with artist Rei Naito. The concrete shell structure is composed of free curves that correspond to the surrounding contour lines. A seamless frame was achieved by using soil as the formwork.
