BIRTH CLINIC, WOMENS CLINIC SHINOZAKI

Outline
Surrounded on three sides by woods and fields, this one-story wooden (partly two-story) obstetrics and gynecology hospice stands on a site facing south toward the Tsukuba Express viaduct. Through the central courtyard, small-scale spaces similar to those of a house are connected in a circular pattern. In addition to consultation rooms, hospitalization rooms, a maternity room, and a dayroom with a cypress framework, there is a quiet room for meditation and a healing room for hairdressing.
