DR CONGO ACADEX PRIMARY SCHOOL

Outline
A self-built primary school built by local residents of Congo and Japanese students. Local residents, educators, and a Japanese research team cooperated in all aspects of the project, from construction to operation and education. From now on, one building will be constructed every year, aiming for completion in six years. The walls are made of sun-dried brick blocks, and the shed is a wooden truss structure with a scissors-shaped cross-section.
