YOKOHAMA APARTMENT
OSAMU NISHIDA+ERIKA NAKAGAWA/ON DESIGN
- Outline
- A three-story, five-unit apartment building. Both the interior and the exterior are made of fair-faced concrete, and the heat insulating material is cast into the center of the double reinforcement when the concrete is poured. Vertical openings are created at the four corners of the long, narrow interior, and differences in elevation are used to create movement and depth in the space.
