YAMAKOSHI BULLFIGHTING GROUND RENEWAL

This is a renewal of a bullfighting arena for "bull horn thrusting," which has been handed down from generation to generation in the area of Yamakoshi, which was hit by the Chuetsu Earthquake. The bullring is located on a site surrounded by a high altitude beech forest. The bullfighting arena is surrounded by a beech forest at a high altitude, and spectator seats with an upper floor structure were added, existing dome seats were repaired, and outdoor spectator benches were relocated. A boardwalk with messages of support for the recovery from the earthquake and tsunami, which was used as a promenade around the slope of the bullring before the renovation, has been put up all around the back of the raised spectator seats.
