MAKUHARI MESSE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE

"A pedestrian bridge connects the first phase of Makuhari Messe (8912) and the second phase (9801). The roof is covered with a white Teflon tent membrane, creating a light image in the existing landscape of metal, concrete, and glass. The roof is made of steel trusses with a maximum span of 39 m, and the floor slab is made of blocks crimped together with PC steel wires, with a maximum span of 36 m.
