- This cultural hall was built in Ofunato City, Iwate Prefecture, famous for its rias coast. The building's overall shape, concrete walls, and finishes express Ofunato's unique regional characteristics, such as the "Anadore Iso" sea shore. The building consists of a hall zone and a factory zone. The hall, supported by keel beams and flying buttresses, seats 1,100. In the factory zone, there is an atelier, a tea ceremony room, and a library that reflects the requests of the citizens at the workshop.
