Stage design for the opera "Le Grand Macabre," presented by the Tokyo Chamber Opera at the Tokyo Metropolitan Opera. Ribbons suspended in a distorted grid were hung from batons on the ceiling, which moved up and down to create the scene. The ribbons are made of 8 mm diameter braid ribbon used for decoration.
