Outline: This is a landscape project to grow a forest on the land created by dismantling a part of YKK's factory. The site includes the Maruyane Exhibition Hall, which is a part of the existing factory converted into an exhibition facility, and the Health Care Center, which uses fair-faced concrete with metal lath formwork for its exterior walls and changes its expression over time. On the site, a rectangular plaza called "Room," which is covered with Japanese silver birch, will become a void in the forest in the future. A part of the facility is open to the public as YKK Center Park.
