MEMBRANE CHURCH TAKATORI CATHOLIC CHURCH

Outline
A paper church built after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995 (see 9511) was moved to Taiwan, and a new church was built on its site. The main cathedral is made of twisted noncombustible membrane. In addition to being a church, it also functions as a community center.
