E-CHO+IJS

The pavilion for the University of Tokyo's May Festival is made of wood every year. "E-CHO" is made of plywood bent into a tree-like pattern and interlocked to form a roof and walls like a Gothic rib vault. "IJS (Inlay Joint System) consists of 24 mm thick plywood sheets that are interlocked within a plane.
