YOKOHAMA TRIENNALE2008 SHINKO PIER EXHIBITION HALL

Outline
The main venue for Yokohama Triennale 2008, a warehouse built on a pier. The 130-meter-long space consists of a series of nested plywood rooms: 18 square and rectangular rooms of various sizes, each with walls made of 5.5-mm-thick plywood supported by a steel frame. Only the inside of the walls are painted white. The height of the walls in each room varies from 3000 to 4800 mm.
