A station on the JR Tohoku Main Line and Karasuma Line adjacent to Chokura Hiroba ("Shinkenchiku" 0607). A wooden structure made of lauan plywood covers the entire ceiling of the station shed, connecting the east and west sides of Takanezawa-cho.
