Outline: A single-story home for a farming family, built on a site created by rezoning a portion of farmland. The floor plan features a rectangular living area with a long, narrow central volume running through it. A gable roof spans this structure, and the sides of the central volume—which appear to protrude outward—have been transformed into semi-outdoor porches. From a construction perspective, the building’s systems—including the air-handling unit—are centralized within the core.
