Dwelling in Bunkyo
Nobuyasu Hattori+Shota Koga
- Outline
- The house stands in a corner of a densely built-up residential area. Two gardens were created: one on the north side, adjacent to the disaster prevention open space, and one on the south side, bordering a private driveway where the boundary with the neighboring property is unclear. In the north garden, a steel frame consisting of approximately 70 components and reaching a maximum height of 6,490 mm was installed, creating balconies that extend seamlessly from the bedroom, living room, and dining room, respectively.
