- This single-story house is built on a sloping site in a bamboo grove, with most of its structure supported by solid steel round columns measuring approximately 90 to 165 mm in diameter. The bamboo grove can be viewed from various locations throughout the house, including the living-dining area with its large opening, as well as the kitchen and Japanese-style room.
