- A library and villa in a residential area. The volume fills the entire site and has a courtyard in the shape of a "L". The entire perimeter of the building facing the courtyard is glazed to allow natural light into the interior and to allow visitors to view the bookshelves even when they are in the courtyard. Except for the east side, both sides of the passageway are lined with bookshelves. Flat pillars and beams of 60mm thickness are exposed and placed at intervals of 1,200mm so that they can be used as bookshelves.
