Renovation Design：Nori Kawashima＋Nori Architects

Outline: Renovation of 504 units in "Osaka Gas Experimental Housing NEXT21" (9401 in this issue). This is a multi-centered single room space that accommodates multiple lifestyles. Furniture, fixtures, walls, flooring, and other materials from the existing dwelling and the 402 dwelling that was demolished at the same time were salvaged and repurposed while reweaving the relationships between them. Twelve movable tatami mats and six desks are installed, and are used by the residents in different ways.
