Outline: A 45-year-old house on a southeast-facing slope was renovated into the designer's own residence and studio. The existing house had a reinforced concrete basement and a wooden ground with a terrace on the southeast side. In order to make the most of the building's sloping site, almost no changes were made to the exterior, and only the openings were manipulated. By removing and installing new exterior openings, a line of sight was created in the east-west direction of the site.
