- A 92-year-old townhouse was renovated to serve as a base for artists. A 420mm wide steel ladder frame, installed to supplement the horizontal load-bearing capacity following the removal of the existing partition walls, runs continuously from the entrance. At the end of the earthen floor is a separate work area that leads to an alley next door. The steel ladder frame extends from the floor to the roof, intersecting with each other and giving the space a three-dimensional overlap and depth.
