Outline: A hut that serves as a base for forest maintenance activities built in the forest in Kamanuma Kita village, Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture. The hut was built in a hexagonal shape from lumber obtained through clearing fallen trees, maintaining water sources, and rehabilitating roads in a forest that had become inaccessible to humans. Granite laid in the center can be used as a fireplace. The walls and roof are log structures made of raw wood, and a hexagonal skylight and smoke vent are placed at the top.
