Outline: This is a reconstruction of a house on a flagpole site tangent to a main street, where the grandparents of the owner lived. The majority of the building had to be over 7,000 mm high, but the owner wanted to live in a one-story house, so the main functions were concentrated on the first floor, with a second floor and a high-ceilinged atrium in part of the house. The Oshima cherry tree, which was originally planted in the garden, is used as a clue to connect the garden to the air space.
