- A 45-year-old townhouse with a 4.3-meter frontage and 15-meter depth, built along a highway in Hida Takayama, was renovated to rent out the entire building. The interior was dark with no light coming in, so climbing windows were drilled on the north side to bring light into the upper and lower floors.
