Outline: This house is located near Lake Sanaru and is bordered by two slopes. Since the groundwater flowing under the site drains into the nearby Nekawa wetlands and Lake Sanaru, various efforts were made to contribute to the improvement of water quality. One of these efforts is the use of biochar made from thinned wood from the Mikka Mikan oranges located near Lake Sanaru. The biochar block tiles on the exterior walls and other materials were used.
