Niyodogawa Stud House

Outline
This is a prototype of a town housing project in which lumbering, drying, processing, and construction are all completed within the town of Niyodogawa in Kochi Prefecture. All components were made from 30 x 105 mm lumber spacing, which is produced in large quantities at lumber mills in the town. Knotty cypress boards were used for the exterior walls, but a thin coat of exterior paint mixed with white was applied to calm them down.
