House with Polygonal Courtyard

Outline: A wooden house for a couple living in a new town. a flat traffic flow plan was required, so we planned a one-story, circular space around a courtyard. the roof uses hold-down hardware to extend the rafters to the exterior, and the eaves and ceiling are finished in the same manner to create a sense of continuity between the interior and exterior.
