Hiroshi sanbunichi
- Outline
- This row house takes advantage of "moving materials" such as water, wind, and light, while inheriting the traditional japanese wooden framework and ishiba-building, which remain in abundance on naoshima. focusing on the penetrations, the structure is used not only in the walls but also in the ceiling. the unitization of the structure addresses issues such as material delivery, construction period, and cost in the narrow streets unique to the island.
