House of CHOSO
Hiroshi Horio Architects studio
- Outline
- A two-story wooden house in a cold residential area. From a square plan with a wood-burning stove at the center, the roof is extended to the full extent of the receding line of the exterior walls to create semi-exterior spaces such as an outer room and a shed. The aim was to create a residence that is gently connected to the outside even in a cold climate.
