Architectural Structure in Ishigaki

Outline: By reading the unique environment of Ishigaki Island, such as scorching sunshine, humidity, wind storm, spring water, and sunset, and overlapping the form of houses that have been rooted in the village for a long time, we created a house suitable for this environment. The house is designed to prevent the storm and heat from entering the room as much as possible, by using the deep eaves to shield the sunshine, the ventilation by the high floor, the wind tunnels in the east and west, and the water sprinkling on the roof deck.
