- The project is a restaurant and a residence for a French restaurant owner, who dug a hole in a 1,000m2 site, poured concrete, and when the concrete hardened, dug out the soil in between to create a reinforced concrete building. The simple construction method, in which the entire process is carried out by a small number of multi-skilled workers, results in a cave-like landscape.
