Curves and Chords
Hideyuki Nakayama Architecture
- Outline
- This is a work space and a residence for a couple in Tokyo. Ten layers of slabs of different shapes are distributed three-dimensionally in the 7.5m high interior space. From the bottom to the top, there is a gradual increase in privacy from the work area to the dining area and the water area, but the way things are placed blurs the distinction between floor and counter.
