Outline
This is a house that doubles as a gallery, a tea space, and a teahouse, built on a site near the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, and is intended to be used in various ways for concerts. The exterior appearance of the basic elements of cedar dyed in black ink, deep eaves, lattice, and greenery make the house appropriate for the site, and the manipulation of light and proportion draw people in.
