House in Daita Renovation

- This is a renovation of "Machiya in Daitou" (Shinkenchiku, 7611), completed in 1976. The previous owner moved out of the house and it was threatened to be demolished, but the new owner decided to take it over. The house has been repaired, painted, newly furnished, and reinforced against earthquakes without major changes to the interior or exterior. This series of processes was carried out with the cooperation of the "Housing Heritage Trust".
